Facility Project Manager

B. Braun Pharmaceuticals SA

Coordination of execution of new building investments and grounds maintenance, health and safety, procurement and contract management, space management, utilities and communications infrastructure.

Your responsibilities

  • Oversee facility expansion plans (involvement in design, construction and hand over phases of the assigned projects);
  • Prepare all documents necessary for obtaining the required authorization for each project developed (fire brigade authorization, Romanian Water permits, ISCIR authorization);
  • Ensure buildings and facilities comply with health and safety standards, and meet the industry codes and the applicable legislation requirements;
  • Plan best allocation and utilization of space and resources for new buildings or
  • reorganization of current premises;
  • Develop and implement a facility management program including preventive maintenance and life-cycle requirement;
  • Coordinate intra-office moves;
  • Manage the relationships with vendors and suppliers, obtain quotes and tenders, negotiate contracts, coordinate, monitor, check and follow-up on their activities;
  • Manage and review service contracts to ensure facility management needs are being met;
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise and minimize the consequences;
  • Calculate and compare costs for required goods and services to maximize the cost effectiveness ratio;
  • Manage and lead change while ensuring minimum disruption to core activities;
  • Monitor and demonstrate the agreed service levels achievement and develop and implement cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.

Your qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (construction – installations, building services engineering);
  • Facilities or building management/ engineering or related qualification such as project/ business/ construction management represent a plus;
  • Experience in construction, maintenance and all facets of facility operation;
  • Experience in Pharma/ Food/ Beverages industry represents a plus;
  • Solid computer (IT skills) and systems knowledge;
  • Minimum 3 year in Project Management;
  • English - advance level;
  • MS Office knowledge (Excel, Word);
  • Autocad knowledge represents a plus;
  • Set high quality standards and act cost-consciously;
  • Complete tasks and projects successfully;
  • Show persistence and determination;
  • Work in complex structures successfully;
  • Interact constructively;
  • Project Management;
  • Applying legal requirement related to building infrastructure;
  • Understanding of detailed design plans;
  • Management of facility contracts;
  • Working program: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30.
