Benefits Manager
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience analyzing, interpreting and consolidating data in order to build processes and policy around Benefits management.
- Experience supporting the management of benefits programs and onsite services across LatAm.
- Ability to speak and write in English and Portuguese or Spanish fluently and idiomatically.
Preferred qualifications:
- Pensions/Medical benefit experience in the tech industry.
- Knowledge of benefits legislation and compliance requirements in LatAm.
- Experience managing vendors and key stakeholders to deliver a benefits service.
- Ability to analyze, interpret and consolidate data as a practical approach to building robust processes and policy around benefits management.
- Ability to engage and communicate with employees, understand their needs, and deliver benefits to them.
- Benefits project management skills.

As a lead of the Latin America benefits team, you will have responsibility for managing benefits specialists and temporary staff and for supporting the management of benefits programs and onsite services in a number of countries across LatAm.

Responsibilities
- Manage a team of benefits specialists across the LatAm region.
- Support Benefits programs involving the research and implementation of plans and programs as well as managing competitive benefits offered in the region.
- Ensure existing benefits are compliant with local legislation. Establish and develop measures to improve efficiency and accuracy in plan management.
- Manage the design and implementation of benefit programs and work with LatAm People and Operations teams to support the smooth running of benefits programs. Review the process by which plans are managed and develop an excellent benefits experience for Googlers.
- Manage and influence complex partner relationships to ensure all dimensions of the Global Benefits Strategy are effectively communicated to leadership teams and support organizations.
