Who We Are
The Train USA team works on the program sponsorship for international Interns and Trainees coming to the United States as part of the Department of State’s BridgeUSA program. We process J-1 Visa sponsorship applications, monitor programs, support program participants hailing from 100 countries, and manage relationships with over 900 partners and U.S. companies hosting these participants.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Your job will be to provide administrative support to help ensure participants have the resources needed to prepare for their arrival to the U.S., and to help support their compliance while on program.
- At any given time, you will be responsible for preparing visa document shipments, payment processing, updating participant files, organizing data, health insurance enrollments, and responding to general program inquiries from participants and U.S companies (phone and e-mail) about the BridgeUSA Program, visa regulations, insurance and application processes.
- You will report to the Assistant Director of Train USA, in close collaboration with Organizational Impact and Effectiveness Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
- To be successful in this job, you will be a highly organized, detail-oriented, problem-solver. You will be able to be a flexible team player, with strong written and verbal cross-cultural communication skills, and feel comfortable with periods of high volume of repetitive, administrative tasks.
- You will enjoy administrative responsibility and customer service and have a passion for our mission of international exchange.
- Frequent travel to the home office in Washington, DC is expected so candidates located in the DMV region or those willing to relocate are preferred.
